A Sister in Christ and  friend passed away very suddenly at the age of 45 years she has gone to the Lord.

When we met,11 years ago, Rute had walked away from the Lord, which was fine for us,  my husband and I never knew the Lord then and had no interest either. We loved the world and  thought everybody should be able to do what they want.

Rute taught my husband how to crochet. To this very day he does it on a daily basis A gift for this life; but later when she came back to Jesus there was the greatest gift to come.

Around 6 years later Rute started to talk about the Lord which we found very irritating. A year later her  mother, Fatima, visited who is a devout Christian who had a great influence on us coming to Jesus. Especially for my husband. Weeks later in Rutes kitchen I bombarded her with questions about her faith for at least 40 minutes;  every answer came back perfect with love and patience. Finally with ears to hear and hearing theTruth I wanted to repent and forsake the lies of this world.

Later we often talked in wonder about the moment in her kitchen how she would have never been able to answer all those questions , but it was the Holy Spirit coming out of her like living water. and just as Jesus said "But whossoever drinketh of the water I shall give him shall never thirst" (John 4:14) , All praises and glory to the Lord Almighty.

Rute went through much hardship in this life. Not only from persecution that every Christian, that puts the hand to the plow, has to endure but basic rights like being with her precious daughter Sophia were taken almost totally away from her. The constant fight against lies and unjust accusations year after year must have been a struggle that most of us cannot even begin to comprehend.

God knows and sees it all. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sophia that she always remembers the love that her mum had for her and that all the teachings about Jesus are engraved in her heart. Prayers for Fatima, who Rute called her best friend, and all that are left behind and sad. We rejoice because we know she is with Him. May the Lord be glorified in all of this.

Rute on the 6th of June 2021 she wrote to me

"To die for a Christian is not a sad thing. We do feel sad but I always rejoice as well and feel quite sad to think of them that are already with the Father, while I have to wait my time"

Rute went to be with the Lord on the 7th of July 2021

John  14:3

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

( There, as always , has been some speculation as to why someone would be called to the Lord at such an early age, including the obserd thought that it could be suicide. All we know is that Rute was living a very stressful life she was, in our opinion, coming to terms with all of that but then she was a receipient of the astrazenica vaccination and her cause of death was a massive blood clot in the brain)
